Early Responses of Neural Cells (U87) to Particulate Matter Exposure: Cell Viability and Cytokine Concentration
نویسندگان
چکیده
Particulate Matter (PM) has a significant impact on human health and increases the risk of respiratory diseases. PM exposure is linked to various illnesses, including cardiovascular diseases, cancer, neurological pregnancy complications, contributes both mortality morbidity globally. can also influence autonomic nervous system. The evidence suggests that likelihood developing lung cancer continually rises with rise in concentration coarse PM10 (medium aerodynamic diameter less than or equal 10 μm). However, studies examining relationship between brain gliomas are scarce. In this study, U87 cells were exposed at three different concentrations effects evaluated by analyzing Lactate Dehydrogenase (LDH) activity, Interleukin-6 (IL-6) expression, cell viability using water-soluble tetrazolium assay. IL-6 varied time. did not LDH activity tested concentrations. These results provide crucial information for future research aimed understanding disease pathology.

exposure to air pollutants is significantly associated with health risks ranging from bronchial reactivity to morbidity and mortality. however, the precise mechanisms are not always fully understood. the aim of this study was to investigate the effects of sulphur dioxide (so2) on cell viability and cytokine production of a549-human pulmonary epithelial cells. test atmospheres of so2 were genera...
متن کاملArtificial neural network forecast application for fine particulate matter concentration using meteorological data
Most parts of the urban areas are faced with the problem of floating fine particulate matter. Therefore, it is crucial to estimate the amounts of fine particulate matter concentrations through the urban atmosphere. In this research, an artificial neural network technique was utilized to model the PM2.5 dispersion in Tehran City. Factors which are influencing the predicted value consi...

Background: Risk factors of non-communicable disease (NCD) origin from early life, and exposure to environmental pollutant may be a predisposing factor. This study aimed to investigate the association of air quality index (AQI) and fine particulate matter (PM2.5) with some NCD risk factors in a sample of Iranian children and adolescents. Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional study was con...
